Clements Certified Consultants was established in March of 2001. The company is
owned and operated by Laura R. Clements. Laura is a legal assistant Board
Certified in Family Law and a certified family law and general civil mediator.

Laura has more than 25 years of legal experience. She has managed several law
firms who hired her specifically to assist them in expanding their client base and
building an organized and prosperous litigation practice. Laura and her staff at
CCC are often hired to “rehabilitate” a struggling practice or one that lacks the
necessary organization to thrive in today’s world of constantly changing deadlines.
CCC is available to consult with law firms about law office management, document
organization, building and maintaining a client base, and to provide day-to-day
hands-on litigation support of client files.

Laura has been certified in family law and general civil mediation since 1994. She
has been appointed by Courts in Harris County, Brazoria County, and Galveston
County to mediate family law disputes. Additionally, she will assist law firms and
their clients in preparing for mediation. She has extensive experience in preparing
settlement offers, brochures, and packages that enhance the settlement potential
for the attorneys and clients she serves.

In addition to Laura’s long history assisting attorneys with either direct litigation
support of client files or the management and development of their practice, she
lectures extensively on family law issues and mediation. Laura is a regular guest
speaker at a non-profit divorce course called “Taking Control”. This course has
assisted hundreds of women over the years in understanding the process and laws
governing a Texas divorce.

Ms. Clements expects to publish her first book in 2009 entitled “And Then There
Was One”.
