Houston Mediation & Settlement Assistance, Mediator for Attorneys

Laura Clements, Owner of CCC, is a certified family law and general civil mediator. She has more than 25 years of litigation experience and has been a mediator since 1994. Additionally, she has assisted attorneys in preparing hundreds of settlement offers and prepared numerous settlement packages and brochures.

She conducts mediation in both family law and general civil matters. A half-day
session is considered 4 hours and is charged at the rate of $300.00 per party. A
full-day mediation is considered 8 hours and is charged at the rate of $400.00 per
party. Mediation can be held either at the offices of CCC or at one of a number of
locations around Houston that may be more convenient to the parties and their
attorneys.

Ms. Clements can also help attorneys prepare for mediation by formulating a
settlement brochure, settlement package or proposed agreement. Additionally, she
can attend mediation with the attorney to assist him/her with the process and
double check that all matters have been adequately addressed before the final
Mediated Settlement Agreement has been signed.
